Maryvale is a beautiful ballpark! I highly recommend checking it out.
Pros:
- Prices are super reasonable for both seats and food
- Beautiful sight lines, great looking field
- The entire concourse area is shaded and many of the seats are as well
- Plenty of grass seating in the outfield if that's your cup of tea
- Famous sausage race!
- All the games are during the day so you don't have to be there at night (the reputation of this area after dark is quite poor!)
Cons:
- Parking is a bit of a hike, but they do have golf carts running back and forth for those who need some assistance
- Food selection is lacking a bit
- Scoreboard and PA system are on the older side, but that could be considered a pro for those that are anti-new technology and pro-classic baseball :)
- My Mariners lost 24-3 to the Brewers during my last visit so....yeah....
