Wow. I wish that was sufficient enough of a review. It's really all that needs said. Joshua and I found ourselves here after Yelp's night at The Nutcracker. We were seated quickly by Alex, the gracious hostess. Almost immediately after Alex wished us a good meal, Gus was at our table with water and all of the low down on the menu we could want. They had a T-Bone steak special with Havarti Potatoes and mixed vegetables, but Josh and I opted for items on the menu. I got the Shellfish Linguini, and Josh the porterhouse. (Same as usual, King Friday) He also got the trio of sides. Whipped Mash, Mac & Cheese and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Let's stop for a second for a moment of silence for the Shellfish Linguini. Wow. I think I already said that. But wow. It was perfect. Loads of lobster, shrimp, mussels, sea bass, and clams. Usually seafood pasta is a load of pasta and wimpy portions of seafood. This was a pleasant spin on the usual. It was so much food. Gus was right. I was torn between the Hangar Steak and this; just because of the Havarti Potatoes. Glad he pulled me in the right direction. Joshua's porterhouse was a giant piece of meat. An amazing giant piece of meat. It was like meat butter. Melted in your mouth. I haven't had a bite of steak like that in a long time. (Thank you for sharing, potato.) The sides were sides, nothing to write home about. The flavors were there but they didn't really hold a candle to the rest of the meal. All in all; I'm a fan. My pocketbook? Not so much. Is it worth it once in a while? Probably. But I've got bills to pay and a Dog to feed. Ya feel? Do yourself a favor, though, and take the third mortgage on the house and go once, at least. Happy Eating!
