I was craving cupcakes so I headed over the blushing Bakeshop, partially because it's close to my job and partially because if you check in here via yelp you get a free cupcake (when you buy a cupcake). The shop is surrounded by a plethora of other businesses. The shop is small and I was greeted promptly. I purchased a strawberry cupcake, cookies n cream and a double chocolate one. The cupcakes are placed in little plastic containers for safe traveling. I intended on eating a cupcake there but I believe the employees were trying to eat lunch and I didn't really want to impose. I tried the strawberry one first, it wasn't bad but it was pretty dry. I wasn't a huge fan of the icing either. Next was the cookies n cream cupcake. The Oreo on top was stale so I didn't bother with eating it. This cupcake wasn't as dry as the strawberry but still not what I was hoping for. The cupcakes are on the smaller side so I wasn't really impressed with that either. They do offer alcohol infused cupcakes as well as custom made items. I would give this place another try, however I was in no way satisfied by my first visit.
