I love Petsmart in Beacon Hill. We've been going there since it opened and have used it for everything except training. Stephanie, the grooming manager, is fabulous. Our dog, Ohinga, has an incredibly thick coat and comes out looking amazing. In the summer we do their 'furminator' package. She sheds about 20lbs of hair! Their prices are reasonable. Most of the groomers know our dog by sight and greet her by name. She's never been a fan of the grooming process but that's her, not them. They know her quirks and mannerisms and she's always welcome! Store staff is always accessible and if they don't know the answer to the question, they know who will and get them right away. On top of which, they welcome rescues to adopt animals out instead of selling from breeders. YAY. (That's how we ended up adopting Ozzie from Oops A Dazy - his big giant loveable face greeted us at the front of the store when we walked in. Suckers!) Stephanie even 'managed' to groom him - no easy task with 80lbs of psycho pooch!
