I'm in the Yonge & Eglinton area often and have tried quite a few flavours of cupcakes at The Cupcake Shoppe. I would post the names of all the flavours I've tried, but it honestly doesn't matter - they've all been awful. While the cupcakes themselves look pretty and have clever names, none of that makes up for the total lack of flavour they all have. They've all been blah to me (especially the ones with more of a whipped consistency to the frosting), to the point where the flavour combos don't matter because they're so muted, you can't tell them apart. I suggest you try out another bakery in the city, or search up a delicious recipe online and give baking a go yourself. Better yet, save some of your hard-earned dineros and opt for Duncan Hines DIY - I find those more flavourful, so I think that speaks volumes.
