Anyway, as someone who tends towards feeling a little jaded by the plethora of shows available in Seattle where I live, I'm hard to please I think. But then you see something like this and I'm just wrong. I'm totally blown away.
The set and theater was as much part of the show as the amazingly talented performers, the way the music comes in behind you (and we had inexpensive seats up high) and the stage moves with each scene change, it's a modern miracle of technology that makes such an old-feeling tale seem completely fresh.
The true test? Would I go back and see the same one again?
