I've been looking for a good place to get some cuts of meat. While I'd prefer the West Side Market, I sometimes don't want to deal with the crowds. I had driven by K&K many time and have been wanting to check it out.
Planned on making pulled pork for a party we were hosting. I intended on using pork loin, but when I got there and told the fellas behind the counter, they suggest pork shoulder. It was actually cheaper and the cut of pork would be much for flavorful and easier to shred.
Those guys seemed quite knowledgable, so I went with their suggestion. Pulled pork turned out amazing!
They have lots of other cuts too, but didn't have a chance to look around much!
