A standard saloon with extensive but not (entirely) overwhelming menu, BlackFinn stands out for their sides. Sure, the steak was good, the fish and chips were nice, and the tuna was well done. But the sides have won out every time. The mac-n-cheese is LEGIT, the goat-cheese grit cakes are lovely, the carrots are so sweet and the broccoli is cooked perfectly. Add on a wedge salad that is big enough for the salad to share (not exaggerating - it's huge) and I'll be making a meal of the extras next time!
