So... The 3 stars are based on my last few visits to the Ostrich where my wife and i had a great time. Unfortunately, tonight we were turned away from the Ostrich because i was wearing flip-flops, in Arizona- during the summer. Not in a tank top or cutoff jeans but a nice button down short sleeve shirt and dressy shorts. Help me to understand how that works in downtown Chandler? My wife and i spent over $200 in food and drink at other establishments, in downtown Chandler, after being turned away at the Ostrich. As we walked away, a party of 6 adults (all mid-40's) shouted over that they were turned away for the same reason. How much money is the Ostrich leaving on the table due to flip flops?
