I ordered from Desmond & Beatrice for a going-away party at work. Never again. The cupcakes were 30 minutes late. Actually, I was guaranteed they would arrive BEFORE the start of the party and they arrived 30 minutes AFTER the start. So MORE than 30 minutes. Every time I called I was told "yep 5 more minutes" with no apology. As this was a work event, most people dropped in to surprise the guest of honor, grab a cupcake and then get back to work. Everyone left the event and I had to send an email to the department letting them know when the cupcakes had arrived and they then came back to get a cupcake. A complete pain. The cupcakes arrived squished. I tried to call and speak with a manager to complain and was told to just send an email. Again no apology. I sent the email and heard nothing for a week. Finally, I received a brief email with an apology and discount on the order. Never a phone call. Completely unprofessional and absolutely awful service.
