I decided to go with my friend Kristin to get my navel pierced. We went on a Friday afternoon and luckily we got there just before this big group of people walked in who also wanted piercings. When I walked inside it seemed a little warm but maybe I was just nervous. Anyways the lady at the counter greeted me with a smile and was very welcoming. It was $40 including the jewelry which is very reasonable, i think. They had a nice but limited selection of rings. I was taken back to a room with the piercer, Frank. He was a very friendly and very experienced so I felt comfortable. He took his time marking me which is what I appreciated. He made the experience of getting pierced very relaxing. The only thing I didn't like was that he didn't really take the time to show me how to clean it. He just told me to use antibacterial soap and to wait about 6 months before changing the ring.
Overall I walked away very happy with the end result and if I ever get another piercing I'll probably go back to Frank :)
