Having enjoyed manicures since I was 15 I know what I like and how it should be done. And boy do I hate having to find a new nail place.. Fortunately, The Nail Lounge didn't disappoint!
I called in for pricing (some places charge men more, others less and I've even been to places that make up a price as you check out) and availability. I was told there would be a technician available upon arrival. Sure enough, I signed in and was promptly seated.
My tech didn't give her name, or wear a name badge, but was very friendly and immediately offered me a cold water or a complementary glass of wine. I opted for the cucumber water. Very refreshing!
While the manicure took place I enjoyed watching "Taken" on the large TV with Closed Captions on and sipped on my water. I noticed the equipment was sterilized and in separate sealed bags for each customer - mega points!
Ultimately, the work was done satisfactorily though at appointment time and at closing I did request a "buff to a shine" service. Unfortunately, I don't think my tech understood as she basically double checked my nails, buffed the nails and added some lotion. Alas, no shine.. but it was ok.
Since the staff was great, place is beautiful, and did I mention the wine bar, I will definitely return.
