We are in Alabama. Upon moving here, we were told we would have internet service in 7 to 10 days. Nine days later, a nice gentleman who took our order called to say they were installing new equipment in our area and it could now be up to 90 days but he did not think it would be that long really. I expressed my concern because I work from home and was now having to drive 88 miles round trip into my office. He assured me it would be installed. I called him two weeks later for an update. He again said he would follow up on it but said it was all being taking care of. Now, as of yesterday, and 6 weeks in, the nice man, Michael, called to say it would cost me $8,000 dollars to get internet to my home!!! He said he new that was costly. So, no, I am not happy. We bought a Myfi (hotspot) from Verizon for now. We are 1 1/2 miles from GA. How I miss my Comcast Internet
