Early dinner ! Got in around 4pm, seated pretty quick. Short line and we sat and ordered two entrees. It was my second time returning, my first time was spring of last year. Had to come back for that bomb food.
Cool arcade games along side the front entrance, you can play while you wait. Parking is available pretty accessible. There are booths and picnic tables, you can sometimes choose either if you are early. Too bad I got there a minute too late and the last booth was taken. Very cozy seats, cushions available if the seat is too flat and sturdy. Our server sat us quickly but took over 10mins to return to our table to take our order. Again the restaurant was less than half full.
I ordered the Boodaejjigae and galbi-samgyubsal (pork belly). From the time I sat down and began eating it took 35 minutes. Pretty slow considering the restaurant wasn't full. The portable butane burner the waiter put down was in bad condition and looked terribly dirty and unsanitary. Asked that to be replaced and the second was in the exact same condition. Aside from that being dirty, the plates that were already placed on the table looked used or unwashed. Had those replaced as well too.
The side dishes used to be good, from what I remember. Looked and tasted days old and I had to shove that to the side.
My soup was good, too small to be valued at $22. The porkbelly was over cooked I believe. Really tough to eat and very very small for $15.
Overall the food was 50/50 today. Very inconsistent, maybe I've to comeback for a third time to be sure. Service was again 50/50. Hopefully things will brighten up soon so I can comeback and have a great time.
