I've been coming here for nearly 20 years, though I've only been inside about five or six times. The place never changes but the clothing on the racks and shelves are always fresh. Getting quality clothing for the perfect price, my jeans just don't wear out fast enough to visit often! Max's consistently has the best clothing. You can often find clothing that you can't get anywhere else in Canada (before it sells out).
Very friendly owners who will find you what you are looking for. They'll spend the time to pick out what will look good on you and find you the size you need. They'll even suggest clothing that you never thought would suit you, but it will. Sure, that comes with some upselling, but you'd be a stupid customer to spend more than you can afford. Buy what you'd love to wear and what you need.
I should probably visit more often just for the great conversations!
