You get what you pay for and there's a reason this is the cheapest hotel in the area.
The good:
The check in experience was good and the young lady at the front desk was professional and courteous.
The bad:
This hotel definitely has an unkept dingy feel to it. The parking lot must have been designed for horse drawn carriages. The guests in the hotel definitely make you happy that NC is an open carry state.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing the cheapest hotel in the area, refugees (certainly better than a UN camp), homeless people (beats living on the streets and you are likely to see some of your friends here), or anyone wanting to slum it up in Huntersville for an evening. As for me, I will definitely spend a bit more to get a decent hotel if I ever need to stay in the area again.
