My room, though basic, was nice. It was large and clean, and the bathroom had HEATED FLOORS. Amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the fitness center, which had a variety of machines and weight equipment. I was also pleasantly surprised by the variety of things for sale in the sundries store, which is convenient, just a little pricey.
I was really unimpressed with the bar area. Our server was inattentive and not very friendly. A friend and I both ordered margaritas ($13CAD!) which were garnished with a lemon? Strange because I saw the bartender cutting limes so I know she had them. The area is also a wifi dead zone, which is not the end of the world but a little frustrating when many of us rely on wifi without international phone plans.
