With over 2300 stores in 29 countries, it's about time Montreal had it's own Korean boutique! The Face Shop is slowly replacing many Fruits & Passion stores across the country since they bought them out.
It's a small shop with all kinds of cute, affordable beauty regimens in appealing packaging. Although it's called The Face Shop, they do have a limited selection of products for the rest of your body such as shampoo, body wash, lotions, hand creams, nail polish etc - they even have men's stuff.
I'm very happy that they sell facial foam cleansers, unlike regular face washes, these produce a thick lather that traps away dirt and oil and leave you feeling squeeky clean. They were developed for hot humid Asian climates and I always had a hard time finding them in this part of the world until now. I've been using their "Herb Day Cleasing Foam" in Acerola (cherry) scent for over a week now, I love the fragrance and texture although it'll probably be a little too drying if you don't wear moisturizer in winter months.
At 5$ for a big 170ml tube, this is a steal!
For such a small store, I felt like they were overstaffed the day I went - I was approached 4 times in the span of 5 minutes, it can be a little overbearing when you just want to browse on your own.
Note- they are working on their North American website that will allow online orders, it's supposed to launch this month.
