This has to be the worst metro in Toronto- and That is not to imply there is a good one .Items that are in the flier are out of stock at 4pm, same day it comes out. The staff are very dismissive- not helpful at all. If you can find anyone. There is one gentleman in the butcher department, however, who is great. He's a middle aged man, thin, greying hair - he was excellent. He was stocking the meat and was just wonderful and helpful. That was a few weeks ago. Today in the vegetable department I was dismissed and ignored by an older woman who was having a fun conversation with a friend.. I patiently waited beside her to ask her a question when she finished her conversation and she walked away turning her face from me, very aware that I was waiting for her attention. She blew me off- I asked her about the broccoli that was on sale. She said that was last week. Any broccoli we have is over there - quick finger point. Its in your flier! I constantly listen to personal conversations at check out- and they stop working while chatting. I've heard so much gossip about their colleagues and what a horrible job they do, out loud in a line up of customers who just want to leave. Clean up your act, Metro. I left and went to loblaws.
