I am always down for novelty desserts; especially ice cream. On a Friday evening, there was quite the lineup but we were served relatively quickly. The portions range from baby to large, and I can easily say the small sized is quite big. But at least there are generous portions. It was a unique experience getting to see the various dips at the assembly station, watching our dessert get made. Beyond the experience however, the cones were mediocre. Acknowledging it is in fact a chocolate store, not an ice cream shop, I didn't have high hopes for the soft serve which was comparable to McDonald's ice cream. As for the toppings; a little bit much. The white chocolate and salted caramel were overwhelmingly sweet in a very thick coat that was difficult to bite through. The toppings were good on both, but just kept adding sweet on sweet. The pretzels on the salted caramel helped to bring some savoury into the sweet, but it was just /so/ sweet. A little gimmicky, but it's worth trying once. Definitely good for chocolate, but not for ice cream cones.
