I moved to Gilbert about six years ago and was in search of a local coffee shop and much to my surprise this business popped right away. It is tucked away in Agritopia right next to Joe's Farm Grill. Don't let the name fool you because they have wonderful baked goods, breakfast, lunch, and of course assorted coffee drinks.
I have tried an array of items on the menu and my favorite is always the San Diegan. It is an open faced omelet with potatoes, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, onions, sour cream and feta. I know I know...that is a lot of food but it is darn good. It is definitely something that you can split with someone as it is very hearty. I go back and forth between the scones and coffee cakes. The scone flavors vary day to day but my favorites are the butterscotch and chocolate chip peanut butter. I've never seen a blueberry white chocolate coffee cake and they make one that is out of this world.
They were also featured on cupcakes wars a few times and were also featured on Check Please, AZ. I may have reviewed them on Check Please, AZ....maybe This is one of my favorite places and I go back there on a regular basis.
