BEWARE! BEWARE!
My daughter wanted a clarinet to rent for band in school. My in laws recommended boogie music so I gave them a call regarding the procedure to rent a instrument, over the phone they said they do not do credit checks witch was great because IM in the market of purchasing a home and did not want any inquires on my credit so I took a drive up there with my Kids after speaking with a store rep they said they would need my S.S. # I told him I would prefer not to provide that info, the rep said we do not run credit checks its just for collections while the owner of the store was standing there he said he dose run credit checks on certain people and he would need my S.S. # to do so or he would not rent to me and that hes not going to let me walk out paying twenty dollars for the rental and keeping a 500. hundred dollar instrument. insinuating as if I was planing on steeling because I did not want a credit check like they advertise on there website. My 8 year old was upset so I walked out ripping up the contract!! Someone this shady just to randomly judge people do not deserve my business. Please treat everyone the same and go by the polices that you advertise!
