I thought it was cool seeing Criss Angel in person, but the show itself was disappointing. He does such amazing stunts and illusions on his tv show Mindfreak, I thought his live show would be mindblowing. We tried to ignore the negative reviews and watch the show anyway.
All the magic tricks he did were things we've seen already. The typical disappearing behind a cloth act, the typical cutting someone in half in a box act, everything was typical.
The dancing was a nice twist to the show, but somewhat of an overkill. I know it's a Cirque du Soleil show, but let's be real... people come to a Criss Angel show to see crazy illusions, tricks, and stunts.
