I used A-Team moving service a few months back, and I'm sorry I didn't get to review them sooner. I will be moving again soon and I will definitely using their services again.
I was looking for a moving service. I made lots of calls and read a lot of reviews.
My big concerns while reading reviews were that people's items were ending up at their destinations damaged or stolen. The other concern that I had was that when I called around to different moving companies, most of them had a lot of add on charges for mileage, extra time, or even by the amount of boxes. I was concerned my items would be stolen, I was concerned that the movers would work real slow to tack on time to the charges. I was also concerned that the movers would take a longer route to charge extra for mileage. I had all these concerned because there wasn't a company that would give actual charges, just estimates.
When I called A-Team Moving, I was happy to discover that you are just hiring the movers. This was exactly what I was looking for. I rented the U haul truck and drove it, and they did the rest. I was in complete control of my possessions the entire time. I moved a two bedroom upstairs apartment into a two bedroom apartment downstairs and it took 3 hours, with travel time (about 18 miles). The two guys they sent were professional and courteous. They moved quickly and noted any scratches or dings to furniture before they moved it. They loaded the truck, and used all the space effectively. They packed the truck in a manner that made driving the load safe, nothing moved or shifted. The A-Team moving service provides moving blankets, and hand trucks so I didn't need to rent additional equipment, just the truck. The move cost me $400 with the truck and I was very happy with that. Nothing was damaged, everything went smoothly and there were no problems. I didn't have to lift a finger, all I did was drive the truck. Making the appointment was easy as well, the lady was helpful and informative.
