When this first opened, I would have given them a two, and was very disappointed with their stuffed chicken.
Smart businesses re-evaluated what they should be doing better, and I believe the owners of this establishment are now hitting on all cylinders.
They lost me a year ago, and I was ready to eat at Rosarita beach Mexican restaurant next door, but for some reason the chicken finger special sign on their window, got me. I guess, I was having one of those Wade Boggs moments
The girl behind the counter seem a little tired from the night before, but she was very friendly. I notice the menu has been simplified from the last visit, and upgraded to the 4 piece meal with a side of Apple Cole slaw.
From what I notice, they have increased the choices of their sauces, and there were 8 to 10 different chicken dips, and 4 dipping for the fries. I had the Jalapeno ranch, and homemade BBQ sauce. I hope this business is reading this, because they should marketing their BBQ sauce, WOW...it was very good.
The chicken kinds of reminds me of a crispier, but more flavorful Raising Cane, and the fries are pretty good. I liked the Apple cole slaw, but I wished they had a bigger meal choice. It was good size meal, but sometimes after the gym...it's grind time.
I'm happy this place went back to the basic, and will be visiting again shortly.
