I've heard of LeMont and passed it a few times over the years but a Yelp event led me to finally stopping in. Before visiting I assumed LeMont was expensive, small portioned, and super fancy. Two of those things were false as LeMont was fancy as ever. I enjoyed how proactive the staff was and how favorable the food was. While there I had the broccoli cheddar soup which was the perfect way to start my meal and the pumpkin flavored ravioli was surprisingly amazing. The pecans gave it a nice flare. The show stopper here was hands down the funnel cake a'la mode with pumpkin spice ice cream. The funnel cake had a crunchy outside and a fluffy inside. It was the perfect balance of pumpkin and sweetness. The prices are pretty adorable and I will definitely be back in the future. As this is more than dinner with a view but it's an experience.
