Zero question in my mind as to why this place has 5 stars on 196 reviews. I went in this morning with 2 coworkers around 930. There were no other patrons in the restaurant at the time which could be alarming.
I went with the chicken and waffles on the favorites portion of the menu. The waffle was dense yet not dry. The chicken was very well seasoned and tasty. My only complaint is that I wish they gave a little more chicken for the price.
My buddies got bacon and eggs breakfast plates. The bacon was possibly the thickest bacon I've ever seen. I didn't get to taste it but they both noted that it was delicious.
The server was very nice and attentive. When we were finished, the chef sent out a small treat on the house- pumpkin bread pudding. It was absolutely delicious.
I'd go back here any day and it's close to my office so I know I'll be back again.
