I don't know what happened here! I used to always go to their location on Baseline. I have always ordered the vegan and often get vanilla. The first time through, the server didn't shake the vegan base. When it sits, it separates, so that it's basically water on top and cream on the bottom. So he only poured the watery stuff from the top. By the time he was done mixing, it was just a clear icy, crumbly block. As that was clearly not edible, I asked if he would try again, this time shaking the base first. The server agreed, and this time it looked milky and much better. However, he wayyyy over-froze it, and by the time he was done, it had crumbled apart into tiny, icy chunks. Not even remotely creamy. Looked like the stuff that falls off the sides of your freezer. I still thought I'd give it a chance, but when I tasted it, it tasted like pure coconut water. Literally no sweetness at all. I asked the server if he had remembered to add the vanilla syrup, and he said yes, but I don't know...must have been way too little. It had a vague taste of vanilla extract, but absolute zero sweetness. Not to mention he could barely scrape up enough ice crumbs to fill one tiny scooper, since most of the mixture had frozen solid to the bowl. I ended up leaving. Didn't take the ice cream. No point, it was awful! Disgusting! I am so disappointed. This used to be one place I could get good vegan ice cream. Apparently not anymore. Won't be back. So sad.
