I love fish creek park, it may not be the flashiest park in the world but in an urban/suburban atmosphere it offers an escape from buildings and houses and provides a vast natural setting for anyone to explore! I grew up in Calgary and fish creek was a place I spent a lot of time as a kid. Whether it was riding my bike, finding sticks, skipping rocks, catching frogs, roasting marshmallows, having bbqs, talking the dogs for a walk, going fishing with my cousin! I have a plethora of fond memories! Lots of things to do, and plenty of space to romp around! Fish creek is a humble setting that basically is what Calgary would have looked like without human beings being here (minus the maps, bridges and pathways hahaha) ! Check it out!
