They gave me a 2 hour window and missed it. BUT he did call and tell me and apologize so to me no harm no foul. The guy got down to business. I wanted a tune up and lube. He told me he could lube everything but if I wanted to squealing to really stop, upgrade the rollers. I asked how much (in fear). After taxed $86 (total). The Tune up alone was going to be $50, so to me it sounded like a great deal! Took him about 20 minutes. Right as he is finishing he asks me to come out. He says "have you ever had trouble closing this door because your your safety eye is out." I think, Oh here we go. This is where he hits me with a ton of made up work and my bill will double. Instead he looks around and pulls a few wires. He finds a horrible splice job the previous person did. There was exposed copper wire. He quickly spliced it CORRECTLY and covered it with electrical tape, no charge.
He told me he thinks I have close to another 5 years on my springs. But just in case he gave me the cost upfront so I know what to expect. Two springs would be 130 plus tax. I found many companies online where that was the price for one and that didn't include labor. These guys are a no nonsense, small operation. I would deal with them anytime. You know what you are getting, no hard sales, no B.S. Good enough for me!
