I highly recommend Cassel Home Comfort for furnace and AC service and installation. I gave them a call after hearing their ad on the radio about their fall service special, which was a safety check of both furnace and AC. A very friendly dude came out and checked over my really, really old furnace and, using a fancy camera, discovered that I had some cracks in my heat exchanger (which is really bad news and makes the furnace very unsafe). He showed me the cracks, explained what it all meant, and said he'd make a DVD of the video so I could show my wife as well. He took a quick look at my AC and realized it was nearly new and not in need of service, so he only charged me half of what I was expecting to pay. A couple days later, two other gentleman from Cassel, one who has been working in HVAC for over 20 years, came over and checked the furnace again. The camera they have is fairly new to them, and they just wanted to make sure they were really seeing cracks before they told me I had to get a new furnace. I so appreciated them taking their time to come back and doublecheck everything. I then got bids for a new furnace from three other companies. All three were quality companies, but Cassel won my business. Rich the sales dude is just the nicest and most easy-going guy in town, and he was such a delight to chat with. He did not try to give me the hard sell or push me into making a decision, which I greatly appreciate. He was willing to negotiate, and brought his bid down a bit and threw in a couple extras upon my request. In the end their bid was not the cheapest I received, but it was definitely the best, given the quality of the company and the products and warranties they offer. The day of the install Jaime and John arrived bright and early and on-time. They were very efficient and professional but also very friendly and willing to take some time to chat and answer my questions. These guys know what they are talking about. They spoke highly of their company and their boss, and talked about how well they are treated as employees and people. They obviously love their job. I loved hearing that and it made me even happier about my decision to use them. At one point Mr. Cassel himself stopped by to drop off a piece of equipment and to make sure everything was going well. We had a nice talk, and it was great meeting the owner of the company (not something I get to do all that often). Obviously I had a great experience with Cassel, and I highly recommend them. I will definitely be using them again.
