So hot outside must get cold dessert immediately! I've been waiting for a dessert spot to open by this Regal movie theater for a while, so I was excited when something did. The store specializes in snow fluff and other South Asian treats.
Right when you walk in, the store is well decorated with purple walls and a big community table in the middle. The ordering counter is to the right and the menu board is behind the counter. There are board games you can play with your friends too. There are menus at the front counter too and it has pictures of the desserts. They have rolled ice cream, sno fluff, boba drinks, the puffy egg waffle things, and teas. I really wanted to try the sno fluff to see what that was about and it was so good. I had it for dine in and not to-go, but you have options. I tried the guava flavor for a dollar more at it is worth it. The sno-fluff price runs about $5, so the guava at the time was $6. What comes out is this really cool layered kind of shaved ice dessert treat. The layers make it super airy and the guava flavor was bright, floral, and tropical. It's not like a snow cone at all. Just smooth and delicate. Great option on a hot day when you don't want something too heavy or full of cream. The lady (owner?) came out to check on me to see how I was doing (so sweet) and if I was enjoying my dessert. I told her it was great and that I will be back. She informed me she uses fresh fruit so that the products tastes better and I agree you can taste it.
I came back later that day and got the Almond milk tea with boba. It was really tasty. Not sure if you can adjust the sweetness, but it wasn't too sweet. I'll ask next time. I highly recommend giving this place a try as the treats are fresh and the prices are very reasonable.
