Went with a few colleagues after work on a Wednesday to try out Wing Night. $10 for 1 lb of wings is a decent enough deal! $6 pints of Canadian too (full pints, not those small glasses of beer other places call 'pints'). Each day has a special.
We ordered a plate of calamari & shrimp to share, which was probably the best I've ever had at a pub. It was really good! Sadly it was a bit on the small side for sharing, but I'd still highly recommend it.
I had 1 lb of wings, which were pretty good but nothing to write home about. Just kind of average and a tad on the small side (though you do get a few more because of that). My friends seemed to enjoy theirs more than me, for what it's worth. Sadly they charged me $1 for a side of hot sauce without telling me there would be a charge. Reeeeally don't like when places do that.
Atmosphere was nice. They've really done a nice job on the place compared to the old Foxes Den that used to be there. My only complaint would be the locations of the TVs. There's a lot of them, and some are pretty big, but they're all near the tops of the walls, and this place has high ceilings! Makes viewing a literal pain in the neck. The bar area is pretty cool, but if you're going to have seats on all sides, why aren't there TVs on all sides??? (only on two).
The Staff were very pleasant but seemed to forget about us from time to time. I guess it's still kind of new or maybe it was just an off night for that.
