I had a pretty bad chest cold and was looking for some great homemade chicken soup! After looking thru Yelp I discovered Cafe Cornucopia. I don't know how I haven't been to this place yet? I called ahead and asked about the chicken soup, which they had, and when I walked in I was greeted playfully. One of my favorite things about this place is the feeling you get just walking in and meeting the wonderful ladies cooking and obviously running the place. It looks like they put two locations together the small cafe where they cook and make all sorts of deliciousness and an adjacent room where you can sit and be waited on by their cheerful staff. The chicken soup was perfect. Right amount of flavor (still came thru with my cold), filled with lots of white meat chicken, small shell pasta, carrots and seasoned really well. It hit the spot and i feel better already! I noticed some fresh baked lemon bars and thought I'd try one. I was not disappointed there either. Just the right amount of tart and sweet, the crust was perfect. I'll try to save some for my wife when she gets home from work. I'm looking forward to returning and trying some different dishes!
