My first time having cupcakes from Prairie Girl was from a wedding. It was when my cousin gave out cupcakes from this bakery to guests at his wedding. At that time, I received the "red velvet" cupcake and "vanilla strawberry" from his wedding. From that point on, I kept coming back here for more cupcakes.
The cupcakes are very rich and filling. Especially with the big chunk of icing. I find it a bit too much to eat one full cupcake at once since the icing is really rich.
It is safe to assume that one cupcake is really fattening based on the amount of icing on each cupcake. But the icing is so good that it is hard to resist.
I highly recommend the strawberry icing!
