Three stars because these guys aren't even trying to be more than average. Not sure how anyone could rate them higher.
I used to eat here with my family as a child. Literally my whole life. Grandpa was a building contractor and remodelled the interior three times I think... it is a shame to see it looking so bad now.
The others nailed it when they said its a dump. The floors are trashed, the upholstry is a mess and the china is chipped, cracked, and stained.
For me the service was fine, not great but certainly not bad. Food arrived in a timely manner and was hot.
Had the red chili beef burro, taco and tostada. All three were good. The hot sauce was excellent. The salsa looked old and nasty, didnt try it.
Giving he place 3 stars because the food was good. The owner should be ashamed of himself for letting such a historic place go to hell the way they have.
