Overall, this place is a 5 star getaway. The only drawback is we were here when they were getting a lot of snow. We stayed in cabin 25, which is the closest one to the restaurant. The only problem with that and the reason I'm giving them a 4 star rating is the overnight noise. Since it was snowing a lot, there was a small snow plow pushing snow around all night. Every time they take a break, you think it's done only to hear them start back up again 10 minutes later. The constant sound of an engine running, the back up horn, the scraping of the metal on the gravel, it was loud. Then add to it that they are pushing the snow over the embankment and it's hitting our cabin. That made it sound like our cabin was caving in all night. Then at some point in the mid morning (5 or 6am), there was a ton of snow that slammed into our cabin making a HUGE crash and we figured the snow plow had hit our truck outside.
Inside the cabin, there is a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is a nice tub with jets so bring some epsom salt to make it nice and relaxing. It easily fits two people. There are some board games and DVDs to rent from the main office so bring some entertainment if you don't want to rent them. I have T Mobile and my girlfriend has Verizon and we had service the whole time which I've seen some other reviews say they had zero service.
So overall, like I said earlier, it's a 5 star getaway and definitely an escape from Vegas. Just keep in mind the snow plow noise overnight so bring some ear plugs!
