This review is focused ONLY on the dining part of the experience. It looked like plenty of people were having a great time dancing to the live country band, but we were just there for dinner with friends. Although the servers were friendly, the food was less than desirable. We ordered the Nacho's (OK), Onion Rings (pretty good), brisket sandwich (not good) and ribs (not good). The brisket sandwich was laid out on a small bun that looked like the ones you buy at the store for .99 cents. The worse part was the cheese. It had the texture of Velveta and just didn't go well with the sandwich. Our friend, who had ordered the cheeseburger only ate one bite (same issue). She planned on taking it home and trying to remove the cheese and replacing it with some other kind. The sauce the ribs were in seemed to be ketchup based. The ribs themselves underneath the sauce seemed large and meaty but the sauce just destroyed them. Both my friend and I had ordered the full-rack. Both of us decided to eat only about 1/4 of them and then take them home, wipe all the sauce off and try our own bbq sauce at home. The side order of beans were bland and the cole slaw was ok. We also ordered a wedge salad that was ok.
Overall, if you like country dancing, playing pool, etc. then this place could be fun. I personally would never eat dinner here again.
