the store is BIG and CLEAN staff were friendly and cashiers r quick enough and plastic bags are free,
they have phillippino indian arabic chinese section and a lot of CANADA made products!!!
I do not like to buy chinese products made in china since their soils are heavy metal (mercury etc) contaminated and do not trust them, also thinking of the fruits and vegs i do not like when they r imported from continents away, it's not global friendly neither do we know if they are gen modified, in another store i bought duck eggs and saw they were ''made in china'' what the hell??? dont we have enough ducks in canada??? joke, but in this store i ve discovered canada made duck eggs and other small type of eggs i ve been searching everywhere but no store sells it, can't wait to try them, hope they r fresh!!! fruit and veg is very cheap here, i came to buy milk but it's the same price like everywhere, i hoped to find a store with cheap milk since our kids drink 2 liters a day!
However spices are dirt cheap 70 cents that will last you few dishes!!!
They have lots of frozen sweets and foods, i bought kebab meat for 5 bucks hope its nice, i comment on it later!!! i saw they had 2 boxes of spring roll for 5 bucks but usually frozen s.roll is not very nice, i saw another comment here saying it was awful...
i didnt have enough time browsing all the sections, you need patience, but once u know where the things u need then u can finish ur shopping in 10 mins!
they also sell chinese bakery our fav ones, coconut bun, cream bun, cinnamon ,etc a buy a pack of 6 and you pay 4 bucks only, they were fresh and nice, I am eating them right now :)
They had a chinese man who did not speak a word in english,lol I asked him where the milk was and he did not know what milk means he ran to the customer service and asked the other chinese lady :) i just wonder that if canada immigration is so strict how come these people pass the border??? it's not a shame if someone does not speak english since it's hard but it's a shame if they don't even try to put any effort into assimilation
