We recently had one storm window break and a couple others off the track on my family's old house in Lakewood. We initially looked on Home Advisor referral service for a handyman but couldn't even get anybody to answer our calls, maybe because it was a small job. I also kept getting online referrals to a big glass replacement chain who I did not want to use because I'd used them before for an auto glass replacement and their process, which involved several call centers in different states and a local referral, was really weird and involved. In desperation we called Lakewood Hardware. They were friendly on the phone, and referred us to a local handyman who was able to remove the broken window, take it to Lakewood Hardware for a glass replacement, and then get it and the other windows back on the proper track, all at a reasonable price. This whole process did take a a few weeks of coordinating schedules, but bottom line is Lakewood Hardware helped us where other referral services didn't, the guy they sent us to returned phone calls, and the window situation is now resolved. I would use Lakewood Hardware's services again.
