Not the biggest or sexiest park in Summahood, but man do the dogs I sit for or rescue/foster love to do do their biz-nezz here! There's picnic areas, b-ball and tennis courts and a skate park in addition to two playgrounds suitable for kiddos of all ages. I dig the swings. As others have mentioned, parking is tight, but I've never really been here when that was an issue. Mainly, my visiting or fostered furry buddies lead the way and I let them run, sniff and play with other doggies we may encounter. Maybe because it is not the biggest or sexiest park, it is not as crowded as others. But this too can have its merits if solitude is what you seek. Sometimes a few moments swinging or reading in the shade is the perfect antidote to a busy day. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you have furry family members who are not comfortable in bigger dog parks, or if you are taking a new foster out for a first visit and are not sure how they react. Summerlin is not lacking in parks/recreational options and there's truly variety enough that you can find one "just right" to meet your needs or preferences. Get outside! Yelp 100 Challenge
