Bought two new rear tires with warranty and had front alignment. Daughter drove car to California approximately 7 months later. Tire on rear driver side blew out. There are no Tire Works in California so had to have tire replaced at Firestone. Took receipt and tire into Sahara Tire Works location and was told that a refund would have to be issue by corporate customer service. Almost a year has gone by without an notification. I finally called today and was told that they sent a letter and that the tire was not defective? If this were to have happened in Vegas I'm sure the store would have replaced the tire without question. I feel that less that one year on a tire is not sufficient and with the warranty purchase my money should be refunded. Minimum the tread life left on the tire. However, the tire is missing and they can't locate it when I asked for it to be returned. I have never experienced anything like this from a tire dealer that does not stand behind their warranty or tires. I guess my daughter should have drove it back on the rim to use the warranty. Well lesson learned, tires and warranties now purchased with Discount Tire! They stand behind what they sell and are in California and Las Vegas . Tire Works is pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!
