The Paris is trying really hard to get into the club scene, but I've now been to both Risque and Chateau and both were just super lame and trying way too hard. We rolled over to Chateau after getting a free admission wristband at Cabo Wabo where we had dinner. The wristband also got us gals a free drink. Free entry, no line, and a free drink? Seems suspicious. Still, we figured we'd go up and check the place out. It was pretty early, but still the club was empty and just really awkward. There were tons of booths roped off for bottle service, which is fine except the booths were tiny! Like, maybe 3 people could have fit in each one. Strange. The club itself is outdoors and just felt crammed onto a random balcony. We redeemed our free drinks and took them to go. Thanks, Chateau!
