My coworkers and I end up at Blackfinn quite often because of its location in the Epicenter. They have a variety of food that meet a lot of different needs. And working for the city, the crown lamps amuse us. The food is good and comforting, but nothing extraordinary or different. We were there for lunch. I did a pick two meal where I got a buffalo chicken flatbread and house salad. The food took a while to come out. Other times I've been here, it also seemed a little slow for food. The house salad was fresh with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, onion, pine nuts, parmesan and kalamata olives. I got what the waitress described as a green goddess dressing. It had a creamy garlic flavor and was pretty good. By the time I got to my flatbread it was a little cool. It had a nice buffalo and blue cheese flavor. I could have used additional hot sauce. You can expect good service, consistent food in a comfortable bar environment.
