My skinny pig (hairless guinea pig) had great care at the Links Rd. Animal & Bird Clinic. They were the only clinic in the city that was willing to see this "exotic" breed, and I found them to be very knowledgeable about their care and traits. We saw Dr. Mavromatis, and he obviously has a passion for animals. He was patient, informative, and honest. He did not push for anything expensive or unnecessary; in fact, he gave my senior, in-distress animal a thorough appointment on short notice, and I was only charged the recall fee (as we had been there recently). A different vet at this clinic also gave great care to my skinny pig four years ago when he was battling a skin infection and he recovered beautifully. I believe that my skinny pig had the best veterinary care here, which no doubt contributed to him living a long and happy life; I would definitely recommend this clinic to other pet parents.
