Girls night at Pomelo's and it was so nice! There was a beautiful white tent outside with chandeliers for a private event but we can see into it nicely. It was very romantic and we didn't need our husbands to enjoy this evening! The managers stopped by to chat and check up on us. The restaurant had a relaxed and comfortable ambience. Our food was good! We had the calamari, spinach dip, Brussels sprouts, grilled corn for appetizers. We all enjoyed it except some of the portions were tiny, ie the corn. A few of the main dishes we tried were the mushroom pizza, shrimp fettuccine and the braised short rib. These three dishes tasted very good except the fettuccine got cold and hard quickly. But we still ate it all up. Our waitress was super friendly and patient. She dealt with our splitting of the checks with finesse. Lovely first time at Pomelo's. Will definitely be back.
