We have been with them for about 8 years. No real issues until the last 6 months. In November they missed our entire streets trash pickup for three weeks. As neighbors- we all took turns calling (because you end up on hold for at least an hour) and would compare stories. Some were told it would be picked up the next day- others were told they would get a credit for the missed trash. Well- none of us received a credit for the missed 3 weeks of service and good luck getting anyone on the line! We are now dealing with missed service again. Our regular pick up is on Thursdays. Sometimes we are lucky if they come around by Monday. Most of the street has already started switching to the competition and even though they charge a couple of bucks more- it's worth it- since they actually provide the service they get paid for and have a customer service department that answers the phone. If your area offers other options- go with the other option. Even if it's a guy in a Fred Flintstone car. It has to be better that this literal "hot garbage!"
