This used to be my go-to Indian restaurant. I've been a customer here for ten years and have always come back because of the great food and service. Last night, both the food and the service were sub-par. We ordered the garlic naan, which was inedible due to having so much raw garlic it made my eyes tear. Next, we ordered the vegetable appetizer assortment, of which most was inedible being either burned or too salty. The only item on the plate that was edible were the samosas. The shrimp biryani and shrimp tikka masala were average, with the tikka masala tasting as if it had scorched in the pot. We waited over half an hour for our entrees to appear after getting our appetizers. We had to ask for clean plates for our entrees, because our entree plates held the remains of the garlic naan and appetizers. The waitress never questioned why we didn't eat the garlic naan or the vegetable appetizers. We weren't the only party who received bad service. There were only two other parties in the restaurant at the same time as us, and one of the others had to flag down the waitress to get their check and then again to pay it. It's really hard for me to justify paying a little over $50 for dinner for two, since half of the food was inedible. I won't be back.
