As I continue to try to find consistency in this mixed-up, inconsistent world of 'nowhere to get a burger and a beer' (or wine for me :) ), I came to where I know... Where I've been since I was younger, growing up with a mom who ALWAYS says 'why not Dirty Drummer for a burger?!?!'
Moms really do know best :). I had the best burger - cooked to perfection (Medium), and my partner Medium Well (also perfect), and great service at good ol' Dirty Drummer. The place had a great crowd, and sports were a'plenty at their 44th St. location. Great food, great service - Lisa was our excellent hostess with the mostess for the evening.
Char-broiled, excellent beef, melted cheese, and the most awesome fries with a crispy, light inside (complete with their signature mayo dipping sauce), is a flavor I won't soon forget or forget to repeat! Excellent :).
