Took my first ever Paddle Board class at Aloha Paddle Sports this past Sunday. It was a 10am class and we were so lucky to have Blanca as our instructor. She took us through all the basics on land and then got us in the water quickly. I was so surprised at how manageable paddle boarding was! The instructions were easy to follow and after a little bit of practice we were out on Lake Norman. For the class, we did about a 1.5 mile loop before heading back to the shop. It was the perfect 1.5 hour introduction.
The shop sells all sorts of water sport gear and is super easy to get to from Exit 25 off of 77. We will be back for more rentals!
